Export sprints, features, stories, acceptance tests and tasks in xls or csv.

Usage

Export tasks / stories / features in a spreadsheet format (csv or xls) in order to manipulate them in Excel, Open Office or a custom program.

Export data

Once it is enabled, this App adds Export choices in several places:

  • Backlogs view: stories
  • Features view: features
  • Release details: sprints and stories (one sheet for each sprint)
  • Sprint details: stories, tasks and acceptance tests

File format

For every export provided by this App, you can choose between the Excel spreadsheet format (.xls) or a comma-separated values (.csv) format. If you intend to use Excel, then the former is the best choice, while the latter is easy to parse so it is a good fit for ad hoc processing.

By default, CSV values are surrounded by double quotes and separated by commas, but this can be changed to any other character when exporting your data.

REST API

Exports are also available from the REST API.
