Hi Stephane,

Nope – as of version 7.05 it seems solved. Because of your post I of course verified that I am running the latest version which to me was the 7.0.4.3.1 but I saw that you had the 7.0.5 available.
Uploaded and installed and it runs neatly.

So this issue is now closed.

Hello Vincent,

Sorry, but no errors in the log. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, IE and Edge.
Only Firefox show this behavior and only with v7.
I have both v6 and v7 running (I have another open issue with migration) and active at this time.

At this point Firefox no longer refreshes the window and clicks no longer activates anything. A F5 or refresh will make firefox continue to the correct visuals.

I just tried the build 701 – sorry – it still fails with the same email already in use error.

I tried extracting myself from the exported v7 project (exported from v6 in v7 mode) but that didn’t change anything. I am a bit puzzled because the other developers entities do not appear in the already migrated projects.
I think I will set another virtual machine up to see if I can provide you with a set of import files showing you the issue. Are you at all interested in that? It would be a maximum of 5 files and not very big at that.

Hi Nicolas,

Sorry – but no cigar. Issue persists. I believe (no telling if it applies) that I myself is the root of the problem.
I set both systems up and started the project that fails migration. Thus I am the only email common to the two systems at the moment.
Is there some more debug I can activate and copy to you which will enable us to get a handle on this issue?
If I look at a project exported from the v7 and compare <user> tags will that provide any info?

SOLVED!

My fault (in part).
The issue was the mail arguments.
Should have been: mail.smtp.auth=false
Was set by me: «mail.smtp.auth»=»false»

I have been looking to much at config.groovy to get the emails to work.

BTW: Even with these settings you still MUST supply unused arguments for ser and password

Hi Vincent,
Apparently we hit the send button approximately at the same time.
Both these excepts from logs/icescrum.lo are with email active. No errors occur if email is disabled.

Whatever you want – I will provide. I find no catalina file. Thats the tomcat output but no such file exists in my system (Ubuntu)

Just be aware if you hear of any other such problem.
At the moment we have decided that this is likely a false positive. In other words that Avast is acting up.
We have uninstalled Avast and are now running the Win10 defender and on some machines the Panda to see if this holds water.

But as of now its just a warning.
